Dan Schreiber, RMT
Dan grew up here in Halifax within the Shambhala Buddhist community and his mother was a seasoned Yogi and meditator well before he came along, so he has had his toe in the water of yoga and meditation for pretty much his entire life. When he was a teenager, Dan started practicing martial arts and that stuck with his throughout his adult life, leading him to become a licensed and certified instructor within Bujinkan international.
When Dan was 27, he completed the massage therapy diploma program at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, and he has been practicing in the HRM ever since. Throughout the course of his career, Dan has been trained in a number of specialized modalities including pregnancy massage, athletic massage, myofascial release techniques, and lymphatic drainage.
In 2016, Dan began teaching at Eastern College within their Massage therapy program. During his time in the clinic and classroom he was responsible for helping new and prospective massage therapists learn about the human body and the way it works, as well as the different techniques that are used to access the parts of the body that need treating. Furthermore, Dan learned a great deal more about his profession through the act of teaching itself. He supposes that is where we really got bit by the teaching bug.

It is beneficial in many conditions involving congestion or swelling, including recent injuries, sinusitis, chronic swelling and headaches.
