Refer a Friend Disclaimer & Promotion Rules

By participating in the Refer a Friend Promotion you are bound by the following official rules:

No Purchase Necessary

Solely open to Canadian residents who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction. This promotion is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. All Halifax Yoga Refer a Friend participants, that forward the Halifax Yoga Sept 8th, 2016 Refer a Friend email to a friend in the promotion period are automatically entered.

Promotion Period

The promotion begins at 3pm, Sept 8th and ends at 12am on Mon. Sept 12th. (“Promotion Period”).

How to Enter

To enter, you must forward our Sept 8, 2016 email to as many friends as you wish. If any of your friends register for and purchase the Halifax Yoga 200 hour Teacher Training program for September 2016; you will both receive a $100.00 gift certificate per friend (to the maximum of 5 friends) towards any retail item, yoga workshop, membership, retreat or training offered at Halifax Yoga.

Selection of Winners

If you are referring a friend to participate in the Halifax Yoga Refer a Friend program:

~ To participate, your friend must register for and purchase the Halifax Yoga 200 hour Teacher Training program by or before Fri. Sept. 16th, 2016
~ Your friend must have received the forwarded email from you within the promotion period and when registering for the program, must mention you by first and last name as the referee.
~ This must be the first time your friend has registered for the Halifax Yoga 200 hour Teacher Training program starting Sept 2016.
~ You are entitled to a $100 gift certificate for each new eligible registration up to a maximum of five referrals (for a total of five gift certificates).
Halifax Yoga has the right to refuse gift certificates to people acting in any manner which causes, or contributes to, a disruption in, or abuse of, the intended operation of this program.

All decisions are final and binding.

Winning referees will be notified by email by Sept 19th and are required to respond to the notification email within three days to claim their prize.

Entry, acceptance, and/or use of any prize offered constitutes agreement by the winner to the use of the winner’s first name, photograph, and submitted yoga story, for the purpose of advertising and promotion by Halifax Yoga without any further compensation to the winner unless prohibited by law.

ALL TAXES, DUTIES, AND SIMILAR CHARGES, IF ANY, ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER AND ARE NOT REFLECTED IN THE VALUE OF THE PRIZES AWARDED.

Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions or exchanges or cash equivalents will be allowed.

Release of Liability

All entrants release Halifax Yoga from any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this promotion and/or acceptance or use of the prizes, including liability for personal injury, death, damages, or loss. Halifax Yoga will not be responsible for: (a) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled, distorted or damaged transmissions or entries; (b) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer- or communications-related malfunctions or failures; (c) any Promotion disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor, or (d) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Promotion.
