Class sizes may be limited and we recommend that you preregister online. As classes fill, you will have the option to be placed on the waitlist.

HY’s Flow class will strengthen, stretch and relax your entire body. It’s a fantastic class for those new to Yoga or those looking for a slower paced class with longer holds. The term “vinyasa” is a Sanskrit word used to define the sequence in the sun salutation series of… chaturanga, up dog, down dog, all linked to breath. All Levels.

Flow Fusion

Enjoy a non heated class with flow, yin and restorative poses. Flow Fusion incorporates the strengthening of a flow class, the stretching of a yin class and the relaxation of a restorative class, all perfectly balanced in 60 minutes of bliss! All Levels.

Vinyasa-Free Flow

Explore healthy alignment and the freedom to play within poses. Beginners to more seasoned practitioners will enjoy how this class moves through floor based and standing postures while building strength, endurance, balance and flexibility. This non heated class is offered with some music and the option for zero vinyasa flows. All Levels.

Hot Power Flow & Power Flow

HY’s Hot Power classes build strength, flexibility, concentration and torch calories! You can always expect a great cardiovascular and strength building workout combined with breath work (pranayama). It is taught in a heated room to help cleanse the body and warm the muscles. This is a playful style of Yoga! All Levels.

Rock Steady (Heated with Music)

HY’s Rock Steady is a fun and groovy Hot Flow class to uplifting music! Utilize core-generated alignment to find a whole new world of muscles, actions, energy. Discover how to use your deep core muscles to make quick gains in true power, making all your poses more possible as you keep your body healthy for years of yoga to come. All Levels.

Yin & Warm Yin

HY’s Yin Yoga class is a powerful practice which targets the deep connective tissues of the body (tendons, ligaments and fascia). If it’s a Warm Yin class the room is warmed to encourage a deeper release. Each posture is held for longer periods of time allowing a slow and safe opening of the tissues, leaving the yogi with an overall feeling of spaciousness and peace. A Yin Yoga class is the perfect antidote to stress and a great counter balance to more active styles of Yoga. Although Yin Yoga is a more passive practice it can be quite challenging due to the length of time postures are held. This Yin Yoga class is open to All Levels.

Yin/Yang & Warm Yin/Yang

HY’s Yin/Yang is the perfect balance of strength and flexibility to cultivate a sense of energy and peace. The class begins with a Yang practice (a Vinyasa Flow) to energize and strengthen the body and finishes with a slow and deep practice (Yin postures) to open the body and still the mind. All Levels.

Ashtanga Flow

Ashtanga is a dynamic flowing style of yoga that connects each posture through the vinyasas lead by the breath. The Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series, often called “Yoga Chikitsa” in Sanskrit, is a system of asanas (postures), that combined with breath and drishti (gaze focus), give us a sequence which allows us the opportunity not only to move our bodies but to observe beyond the physical aspects of the body and mind. All Levels.

Barre with a side of Yin

Have you always wanted to try Barre but didn’t really know what it was? Join us for Barre with a little Yin yoga at the end to stretch out those hard working muscles. Set to fun, upbeat music, Barre fitness is a hybrid full body low impact workout class which combines ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, and strength training. All Levels.

Stretch & Strength

This class is an excellent way to add some variety to your yoga practice! As well as giving the fascia, tendons, ligaments, and muscles some much needed stretching; it provides yogis with extensive tools for strengthening the joints. It is also extremely beneficial for participants who have a history of pain, injury, or joint discomfort, hyper mobility, limited mobility or find some poses to be inaccessible in “flow” classes. All Levels.


HY’s Hatha Yoga is a simple yet effective class without the Vinyasa sequence between poses. This slower paced class will incorporate dynamic and static stretches, as well as build strength and confidence within your practice. This is a next step up from a beginner class and is very good for past or present medical concerns, injury or illness. Class consists of fewer poses held for an extended period of time.

Healing Yoga, Meditation & Sound

This class focuses on Pranayama, Meditation, and Energy practices, including the use of the sound current of the gong to restore balance to the physical and energetic bodies. We will explore the yogic principles around breathwork techniques and other practices that can be used to reset the nervous system and calm the mind. Class will begin with movement and breathwork drawing from the practices of Kundalini yoga to open and prepare the physical and energetic bodies for deep relaxation. Participants will then be guided through a deeply restorative meditation and the sound current of the Gong will be used to enhance your relaxation experience. All Levels.


HY’s Restorative Yoga class is a quieting, supportive and deeply nourishing practice. Restorative poses are done by lying passively over props for a prolonged period, to achieve a deep level of relaxation. The slower pace and deep breathing triggers the parasympathetic nervous system which helps to mitigate the effects of the regular fight-or-flight stress response that can be damaging to your physiology and well-being. The overall calming effect on the nervous system sets a deeply relaxing tone for the class that comforts your mind and body down to the cellular level. Through the techniques of a Restorative Yoga practice, you awaken grace, poise, flexibility, balance, strength, and present moment awareness. No prior yoga experience necessary. All Levels.

Intro to Yoga

HY’s 6 session Intro to Yoga Program is designed exclusively for new students and students starting back to yoga. You will learn the fundamentals of yoga postures and breathing techniques. Gain insight into the principles of yoga philosophy and cultivate inner body awareness to guide your practice. Prenatal Yoga

HY’s 8 session Prenatal Yoga Program provides a safe and supportive environment to prepare for birth and motherhood. Prenatal yoga class postures are modified to accommodate the changing needs of the expectant mother. Provides multiple benefits such as; preparing the hips, legs and pelvic muscles for childbirth; improved breath and blood circulation; and helping you connect with your unborn child and a like-minded community of expectant mothers. Mom & Baby

HY’s 8 session Mom & Baby Yoga Program is an opportunity to take care of your mind, body and baby post pregnancy. This all levels program is designed to strengthen your core, improve your posture and relax using inspirational yoga postures, breath techniques and meditation. Meet other new moms and create community. Open to mamas 8 weeks post pregnancy and babies 1 month-pre-crawling (or not crawling too far or too fast!) Pre-registration is required. MarDocs Yoga Program

Yoga for Resident Physicians ~ All Levels. Tuesday nights at 7:45pm. Sign in at front desk upon arrival and ask for MarDocs form!

Karma Yoga

HY’s Karma class is an all levels Vinyasa Flow class. This donation based class supports local charities and a different charity is chosen each month. Selfless service in ACTION! $10.00 suggested donation. All Levels.

Enjoy a 45 minute Ryde and 15 minutes of Tabata at the end of class. Tabata is a style of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). Must stay for full class if signing up. Please bring a yoga mat.
