300HR Yoga Teacher Training
Halifax Yoga certifies yoga teachers at the international level with Yoga Alliance. Here at Halifax Yoga, we have been certifying quality yoga teachers for over a decade. The 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training is a course for professional development in Power Vinyasa Yoga, along with a multitude of other styles and disciplines.
Our facilitating team offers a variety of styles, methods and modules to ensure a full bodied experience, with an option to specialize in a more focused area.
We offer education modules, professionally facilitated by our team, in the areas of advanced Asana, advanced sequencing, advanced anatomy, trauma informed practice, philosophy, advanced energetics, Pranayama, pre-natal, restorative yoga, teaching and feedback, Svadhaya, Seva and so much more.
Halifax Yoga stands out as a leader in the arena of yoga education. We are a community of supportive and attentive teachers. We offer you mentoring, coaching and community throughout your 300hr experience. You get the opportunity to teach a regularly scheduled community class to sharpen your chops as you learn, with the support of our mentoring team, with immediate feedback to grow you as an individual and as a professional yoga teacher.
You must be certified, with a 200 hr YTT prior to applying for the 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training program from a Yoga Alliance accredited school.
In this 300hr program, there are compulsory courses as well as electives; not all courses are offered each year. You can progress at your own pace! We recommend that you complete your 300-hour coursework within 3-5 years. This will ensure time to process and practice what you learn, as well as keep you motivated and on track for your certification.
Courses for the 300-hour certification must be completed at Halifax Yoga led by one of our designated certified instructors, unless otherwise approved by Halifax Yoga administration.

- 50hr Advanced Teaching Series pt. 1
- 50hr Advanced Teaching Series pt. 2
- 25hr Kindred: Trauma Informed Yoga
- 17hr Pranayama, Mudra, Bandha
- Anatomy: Yoga for Healthy Shoulders
- Anatomy: Yoga in the Now: Hips, Knees, and Feet Focus
- Anatomy Through the Yogic Lens
- Energetic Anatomy 3 Part Series: Chakras, Koshas, Kleshas
- (6hrs in person; 4hrs self study w/ reflection)
- 10hr Practical Teaching *Accountability *self assessment to be completed after each class.
- Evaluation: Teaching and Feedback session with Lead Facilitator *appointment required

Registration & Certification:
To register for our 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training program: Please send an email with your full name, contact information, the name/location of where you did your 200HR YTT along with a copy of your certificate to info@halifaxyoga.com and submit your registration fee of $250 (plus tax). (Registration fee is non-refundable & non-transferable.)
Upon completion of your 300-hours of coursework at Halifax Yoga, including all designated Compulsory Courses, you may submit your documentation for approval and certification. Submit all documentation in one file/attachment to info@halifaxyoga.com and submit your certification fee of $150 (plus tax). (Certification fee is non-refundable & non-transferable.) Once approved, you will be awarded the 300-hour Yoga Teacher designation from Halifax Yoga.
