My love for yoga has grown and evolved over years. I started practicing yoga 13 years ago as a cross-training option in a gym when I was running half and full marathons. Originally, I saw yoga as a great workout and good way to stretch, the more I went the more I realized there is much more to yoga than exercise and stretching. I was able to find my breath, my inner calm and for the first time in my life I felt truly connected, mind, body, and soul.

Since completing the 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2021 at Halifax Yoga I have gone on to expand my knowledge and awareness of what Yoga is and what it means to me, this led to the completion of my 500hr Registered Yoga Teacher certificate in 2024 and a 85hr Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher certificate also in 2024. I am a lifelong seeker and continue to expand my awareness and education in the anatomy of yoga, asana, pranayama, meditation and sound therapy.

My teaching style is grounded mindful movement, conscious connection between the mind, body and breath with each asana. In my class you are welcome to show up and move as you need, I hold space for all who attend.

Outside the yoga studio you can find me with my family, two daughters, husband and beagle. Cooking delicious plant-based food, walking the trails and hiking on weekends and by or in the ocean.
