Hilary Macdonald

I have been part of the Halifax Yoga community since it began.

It has always been my grounding and healing space during the ups and downs of life.

I have observed in myself and others, how yoga can provide physical stability,
mental strength and spiritual peace.

The beauty and power of the physical body have always interested and fascinated me.

The strength in its biomechanics and the grace of its movement are magical really.

I have practiced as a physiotherapist for many years supporting others’ journeys through injury prevention and rehabilitation, and helping to manage chronic disease.

I love being witness to the progression in each student’s journey:
whether it be feeling more at ease in a Warrior II or seeing that you are
just happy that you made it to your mat that day.

I feel such gratitude to be on this yoga teaching adventure with you at Halifax Yoga! And excited!!!
