Yoga really entered into my life when I became a single mom to two small children and I needed not only a physical outlet for my feelings, but a mental one as well; it was something that I could come to each morning and take whatever I needed from it at that time. I made the decision six years later to sign up for Halifax Yoga’s YTT and was blown away by not only the physical transformation that my practice took on, but also a spiritual and emotional side, too. I believe there is something that every human can gain just from stepping onto their yoga mat, and that’s a message I hope that I’ll be able to spread as long as I can!
When I’m not on my mat as a student or teacher then you will probably find me hiding away with a good cup of tea, and insane stack of books anything chocolate.
